About The Wheel

The Wheel is a new theatre company in Washington, DC dedicated to telling stories about bringing human beings from all walks of life together.

Our Mission

The Wheel is a theatre company committed to producing works both new and rediscovered from all over the globe. We believe that no two performances are exactly alike; with every audience, there are new experiences, new sights and sounds, new thoughts and feelings. Together, performers and audience create an ensemble that will never again be in the same place at the same time. To this end, The Wheel is dedicated to telling stories about bringing human beings from all walks of life together.

A wheel is only as strong as the spokes that support it; we strive to nurture a theatrical collective that trusts and relies on one another. Every collaborator and every audience member is a spoke of The Wheel; we invite you to begin rolling forward with us.
